Kids Kampus’ Toddler Curriculum

At Kids Kampus, we help your child develop and explore new interests as they play and learn. With our toddler curriculum your child will learn how to interact and communicate with others. Outdoor play, activities involving large and small motor skills, and a love of books is instilled each day with our toddlers.

Here’s Our Daily Schedule for Our Toddler Classroom

  • 5:30 a.m.-7:45 a.m.: As children arrive, they are welcomed by our teachers. They can eat breakfast while they wait for their friends.
  • 7:45 a.m.-8:30 a.m.: Time for clean up! Our teachers will check their diapers and help them wash their hands.
  • 8:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m.: We start our day by forming together as a group. We do things like playing music, fingerplay, reading stories, or motor activities that reflect our theme for the week.
  • 9:15 a.m.-10:00 a.m.: Children will go outside for outdoor time with alternate gross motor activities.
  • 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m.: Time for clean up! Our teachers will check their diapers and help them wash their hands.
  • 10:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.: This group time is divided into age-appropriate activities, which may include but are not limited to art, language arts activities, free choice play in the toy area, dramatic play area, and manipulatives.
  • 11:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m.: It’s time for lunch!
  • 11:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Time for clean up! Our teachers will check their diapers and help them wash their hands.
  • 12:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.: Most children will take a nap. Our teachers will rub their backs, play restful music, and help the class settle into rest.
  • 2:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.: Children will wake up. Our teachers will check their diapers and select fine motor and quiet activities.
  • 3:00 p.m.-3:15 p.m.: Children will have their quick healthy snack and their cleanup routine afterward.
  • 3:00 p.m.-3:45 p.m.: It’s time for children to go outside again! Alternate gross motor activities are part of our outdoor time activity.
  • 3:45 p.m.-4:15 p.m.: Our teachers will check their diapers and help them wash their hands.
  • 4:15 p.m.-5:45 p.m.: After a busy day, children are given free choice to explore on their own. Parents can also begin picking children up.
