Kids Kampus’ School-Age Curriculum

Our school-age curriculum in will help your child learn to be a problem-solver and a decision-maker. This is also the age where they develop positive relationships with their peers and broaden their imagination and understanding. During the school year we offer homework assistance and educational activities such as art, cooking and athletics. In addition, our summer camp will promote independence and resiliency to your child. We take weekly field trips, frequent the McPherson Waterpark and visit the Opera House.

Here’s Our Daily Schedule for the School-Age Classroom

Regular School Day
  • 5:30 a.m.: Our center opens. Children are encouraged to do quiet activities.
  • 6:45 a.m.: Children will wash their hands before and after eating their breakfast.
  • 7:40 a.m.: Children will leave for school.
  • 3:00 p.m.: Children are picked up from school.
  • 3:30 p.m.: Children will wash their hands before and after eating their healthy snacks.
  • 3:45 p.m.: Outdoor time!
  • 4:15 p.m.: Children can choose which center they want to play in with other children. They are encouraged to start their homework.
  • 5:45 p.m.: Our center closes.
Early Dismissal
At Kids Kampus, we strictly follow the schedule above except for early dismissals. Afternoon activities such as going to the park, watching movies, swimming, and bowling may also be added to the schedule according to the weather. Kindly check our sign-in sheets or call us for more information.
Non-School Days
Note: Summer schedule will be available by the end of the school year.
  • 5:30 a.m.: Our center opens. Children are encouraged to do quiet activities.
  • 6:45 a.m.: Before and after eating their breakfast, the children will wash their hands. They can also play with their friends afterward.
  • 8:00 a.m.: Outdoor or large motor activities, weather permitting.
  • 9:00 a.m.: Activities related to science, math, arts, and manipulatives.
  • 10:30 a.m.: Group activities.
  • 11:00 a.m.: Children will wash their hands before eating their lunch. Afterward, they will brush their teeth and do their cleanup routine.
  • 12:00 p.m.: Scheduled activity for field trip based on sign-in memos.
  • 3:30 p.m.: Arrive back from the outing. Children will wash their hands before and after eating their snacks.
  • 3:45 p.m.: Outdoor time!
  • 4:15 p.m.: Children's individual choice of activity or free play at the center.
  • 5:45 p.m.: Our center closes.
